Hello again, I’ve been searching through the net and have found several new clips of Shani singing or in an interview, including Strike Up the Band of 1985, and Shani singing with Johnnie Ray, as well as the very song she sang “Let Me Love You” for her audition for Oliver! Oliver! Audition Tape!
This is aparently the clip that got Shani Wallis the audition for OLIVER! She was playing in A TIME FOR SINGING on Broadway when producer Mike Frankovich spotted her on TV singing this song. Enjoy here.
